Sittin' By the Fire (Day 5)

Ow....everything hurts after working so intensely on this.

This is for 's Christmas contest, but it's also doubling as my 365 day lion for today.

So, something I've always liked about the holidays is snuggling near the fire (only time cold enough for a fire here!) like the little pyro I am, watching stuff burn. I also used to love looking at the tree before Christmas.

So, here we have Simba and Nala snuggling next to the fire, with the tree awaiting the cubs for tomorrow. That tree was hard to draw...and the lighting was REALLY hard to get right. But I'm proud of this.
